For the finale of our Project Gold, we had organized a food donation drive on 28th August, and identified Pacific Activity Centre @ Fajar Spring and Pacific Nursing Home to be our beneficiary for the donated items.
For every $8.50 donated by parents, each elderly received:
1 kg of Rice
Cooking Oil
Sugar Salt
Oats
Parents also donated other dry food ration such as biscuits, milo drinks, UHT milk packets, canned food and many more.
We managed to prepare 40 ration kits together with the help of our K2 children and distributed them to the seniors at Pacific Activity Centre @ Fajar Spring on 29th August. Some of our children also made door-to-door distribution to those elderly who are chronically ill or wheelchair bound.
