We marked the closure of our SSDB project involving parents in a very meaningful event titled National Day celebration cum Children’s Craft Charity Fundraising.
This year we made our National day celebration uniquely different by including a fundraising event and the Singapore National agenda on how to fight climate change with the Singapore Green plan 2030.
This program developed and demonstrated our children’s social responsibility to protect the earth and to show love and care for the community through the charity fundraising in collaboration with Singapore Children’s Society.
The children have challenged their creativity to create their recycled craft. Each and every piece of craft was handmade by the children guided by their teachers. Their effort were really commendable.
We are glad that our children’s effort were put into good cause. With the sales of our children’s craft, we have raised fund to support children in need under the Singapore Children’s Society.
During the event, the N2 and K1 children demonstrated their commitment to protect the earth with their dance titled: “Earth, we’re in this together”. The K2s presented their Climate Literacy Skit to share their knowledge and encourage our parents and family to join us to adopt sustainable habits to protect the earth. The event ended with the parents participating in the virtual live charity auction with their generous donation. A great SSDB project outcome.
