In line with the school character curriculum on “Gratefulness”, we set aside 16 July as a day for our K2s to show their gratitude to their caregivers, their parents and grandparents.
This project in collaboration with Singapore Red Cross Society aimed to educate our pupils the different ways to show care.
The pupils entertained their caregivers with songs and 3 skits highlighting the importance of caring for the elderly, providing aid by being responsive and showing empathy.
A look-alike contest and workout were some activities our caregivers participated.
Finally, our pupils expressed their gratitude to their parents and grandparents by massaging them and serving them food.
Looking at how delighted the parents and grandparents were during the massage, we knew that our pupils have successfully communicated their appreciation.
