On 3rd July, we collaborated with the Ngee Ann Poly students to share and learn about kindness. Kindness doesn’t mean in caring, helping and sharing among our friends and family but kindnese involve people and living things all around us.
The Ngee Ann Poly students shared on being a good neighbour.
Skit: Burglar attempt to break into a neighbour house.
Children were asked on their opinions on how to problem solve the situation.
Second part of the event the children were introduced to neighbourhood games on being a good neighbour.
Each of them were given a passport when they completed the game. The passsport were then brought home for children to apply at home in the neighbourhood and acknowledged by parents. Parental involvement required in this activity.
Activity 2: Children prepare a card to give to their neighbour.
Perental involvement activity:
In class , children played ‘Our Neighbourhood’ board game to reinforce their understanding of being good neighbours.
We like to thank our sisters from Ngee Ann Polytechnic for their time and sharing with us. Not forgetting our parents whom has volunteered during the event and also participating at home.
