“Thank you, Community Helpers,”
Our Community Helpers play a big role in keeping our community safe,clean and secure. The aim of this project is to give awareness to the children how important our community helpers are and to teach children that their little hands can show appreciation to the community helpers around them.They were involved actively in making thank you cards for the community helpers they see each and everyday in their neighbourhood.
K1 and K2 children had a great time writing and decorating their very own thank you cards. They also drew themselves together with the community helper they chose to give their card to.
K2 children shared in front of the class about how they are grateful for all that the community helpers are doing for everyone in the neighbourhood.
Parents accompanied their children to distribute their very own thank you cards to the community helpers around their neighborhood.
Children were filled with joy and gladness while doing this activity.
