On June 15, we conducted a parental workshop aimed at educating parents on the 3Rs: Respect, Reciprocal, and Respond. The goal of this workshop was to equip parents with the skills to have meaningful and appropriate conversations with their children.
The event included various bonding activities. Parents and children collaborated in making healthy sandwiches, fostering a sense of teamwork and promoting healthy eating habits. Additionally, we celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival by engaging in traditional activities. The children participated in dragon boat racing and transferring zongzi, which not only provided a fun and engaging experience but also helped build cultural awareness and strengthen family bonds.
Feedback from parents indicated that the workshop was effective in enhancing their understanding of the 3Rs and improving their communication with their children. The hands-on activities further reinforced these principles, creating an enjoyable and educational experience for all involved.
