Through our SSDB (Start Small Dream Big) project 2022, “Together, We Care”, children learnt about caring for the earth by practising the 3Rs namely Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
A child from Nursery 2 creatively made a sword using plastic bottles.
In line with the Mid-Autumn Festival, we also have a K1 child who created a lantern using recycled items. In addition, a K2 child also grew plants using a decorated empty bottle as the pot.
At home, parents and children also play their part in helping to care for the environment by switching off lights when appropriate and they also played an active part in reducing trash by not taking multiples pieces of tissue to dry their hands and buying fewer bottled drinks.
Every little action counts. Together, we can do something to save our beloved Earth!
