Last Saturday, we attended the DIY Sanitizer Workshop that the teachers have organized specially for us! We came with our parents and we were very excited to learn how to make our own sanitizer. Before we sat down to our own designated table, we must put on our SSDB hat!
The school’s Vice-Principal started off by making an introduction on the agenda for today. She highlighted that in today’s activity, it has something to do with Discovery of the World (DOW) as part of our Nursery 2 curriculum. There are various ways that our parents can also extend our learning by allowing us to play and explore our environment. One perfect example will be our DIY SANITIZER WORKSHOP that me and my parents will be making together.
Now, it’s time for us to get ourselves ready with gloves on to start with the DIY sanitizer session! Teacher Afifah told us that the sanitizer that we will be making will partly be given to the seniors of the Loving Heart. We followed Teacher Afifah’s instructions and did together with our parent’s guidance. It was so cool! We get to stir and use the syringe to insert the mixture into the sanitizer tube. It was quite challenging but we did it! Our favourite part was to peel the SSDB sticker and paste it on the tube. Check out our final product!
Before we went home with our finished sanitizer that we were proud of making, our parents did a feedback form and all of us took a group photo together. Thank you, teachers, for the awesome workshop!
