Last 14th of June, our centre had organised a trip to visit the St. Luke’s Eldercare located near our school. The visit was consisted of N2 to K2 children and accompanied by teachers.
When we arrived at the eldercare centre, mostly of the elders were already sitted and ready to witness the children’s performances. The children danced gracefully and sang sweetly for them. The elders were so happy and clapped enthusiastically. They really enjoyed the shows that performed by the children.
The children even played games with them and they were so energetic.
Before the visit ended, each of the elders received an art & craft fan made by the N2-K2 children.
This eldercare visit taught the children that happiness can exist, even at old age, regardless of discouraging situations or diminishing health.
