The K1 children at PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Hong Kah North Blk 319 (KN) embarked on their SSDB journey on 28th April 2023. In line with the theme of ‘Many Helping Hands, Caring for Everyone’ we decided to name our project ‘Little Hearts Care’ as we believe that the value ‘care’ should be imparted to children since young. Hence, prior to the launch party, children did a colourful handprint which was then pasted on the wall. These handprints served as a symbol of children’s pledge to show care to everyone all the time.
During one of the discussions, children mentioned that they should care for their mothers. Children then created flowers and cups of tea crafts. These were presented to their mothers on the eve of Mother’s Day. With a hug, children expressed their love and care for their mothers who were surprised and at the same time delighted.
