It started with the parents donating recyclable materials which the children upcycled to something that are very useful. They made used of tissue boxes and rolls, old newspapers, empty cans, egg trays, milk cartons and others to create pencil holders, cute containers, plant pot and holders and wrapping papers.
And we are all set… Time to connect with the community!
All of these wonderful recycled crafts done by the children will be given in exchange to the goodies donated by the parents. What’s even wonderful is that, all the proceeds will be donated to the SunLove Nursing Home at Buangkok View. In this little way the children can show love and gratitude to the elderly for they once helped Singapore to where it is today, a peaceful and an enjoyable place to live in.
