For our second session, Ms Shermaine brought her dog Kiwee to our classroom to share on how she and her family takes care of their pet dog.
She showed children some of the tools that she uses to groom Kiwee. She demonstrated to them how to use these tools correctly and safely.
She also shared that taking Kiwee for a walk everyday is a necessity. The children observed as she put on the harness and leash, and listed down the items needed for the walk.
At the end of the session, children asked questions and they also had a chance to pat Kiwee under Ms Shermaine’s guidance!
After the sharing session, children completed an activity booklet to apply what they have learnt.
The children definitely has gain more insights on the responsibilities of taking care of a pet!
