Children were blindedfolded and followed instructions given by the teachers.
In this activity, they tasted different types of food. They expressed how insecure and scared they felt without the sense of sight.
They recorded down their personal feelings towards this activity on a piece of paper. They learnt to appreciate being able to see with comfort.
Through this activity, the children learnt that they had more feelings of different sorts as they were blindfolded, because they were unsure of what they were touching while dining in the dark. They heaved a sigh of relief when they took off the blindfold. It was a meaningful experience for them.
