In our SSDB project, the children have embarked on ways of how we can take care, help, and give back to our environment. In the classroom activities and discussions, the children learnt on the ways we can save our planet with the 3Rs.
With this, we came up with our project, a Charity Bazaar that took place on Friday, 18th August 2017 from 4.00pm – 6.00pm.
During this bazaar, we sold Art and Craft that were handmade by the children. Most of the materials used were recycled materials that can be found around us. We also had game booths and most of the materials used were also made from recycled materials. The children and parents had great fun!
We also had light refreshments sold during our bazaar. As many of the children liked face painting activities, the teachers also came up with a booth to fulfill the children’s wishes.
Despite the wet weather, we still had an amazing and a successful family bonding event!
