14th May marked a joyous occasion for us as the K1 children embarked on a learning journey to Orange Valley Active Ageing Centre (Woodlands Peak), filling the day with laughter and unforgettable moments.
The event kicked off with a warm performance segment. One by one, each class took the stage, showcasing their bravery and enthusiasm as they sang and danced to “YMCA”, “You Are My Sunshine”, and “给我一个拥抱”.
Not to be outdone, the seniors from Orange Valley dazzled with their own performance, drumming energetically to the beat of “Rasa Sayang”. The children watched in fascination and many joined in, clapping along in appreciation.
The festivities continued indoors with a special craft activity in celebration of Mother’s Day. The children teamed up with the seniors to create beautiful paper flowers, which they then presented as heartfelt gifts.
This memorable day marked our first collaboration with Orange Valley for the year, and we eagerly look forward to the next. A big thank you to Orange Valley for hosting us; we can’t wait to welcome you to our centre soon!
