The children of PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Bukit Batok East Blk 208 had their SSDB Project titled “Arts for Healing” launched on 8 March 2024. The launch party took place at the Singapore Botanic Garden. We organised a field trip with activities for children to express themselves creatively through art in the natural environment.
Children were invited to observe the environment in the park and create an art to express how they feel. Children reflected that this experience was fun and they were happy to create their artwork in a different setting.
Additionally, parents who joined us on the learning journey also shared that the experience of creating art while interacting with nature felt peaceful and rejuvenating. The event lasted for about 5 hours.
