“Thank You” is such a simple phrase, but it makes such a difference in a little one’s behaviour.
As part of our Kindness Week, children were invited to write or draw their Thank You messages to their family, neighbours, community helpers, and friends to express their appreciation to them. Children used the Scratch Art Card that has a multi-coloured surface underneath to make the activity more exciting and colourful.
On this picture, she drew a big heart in the middle of the card. She said, “ My heart is happy when I say Thank you” - K1 child
“This is you, Teacher! Because you always teach and love me! - K1 child
“ This is my family. I want to say Thank you to my Mummy and Daddy because they love my baby sister and me. I’m also happy when I play with my sister!” -K1 child
After the activity, they proudly present their Thank You Cards! Look how big their smiles are!
“Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” – Marcel Proust
