Nothing's too small to care about

Children went to the nearby grass patch for their usual planned sports activities. The class enjoy soaking in the sun, admiring their surrounding and observing new things. A child spotted a snail and called for her friends to see it. The class gathered and started using their hands to cover the snail. When asked why they did it, one boy shared that the sun was too hot and they wanted to provide a shelter for it. Children started taking twigs and leaves and placed them around the snail. They said they are making a home for it. Children showed care and concern and when they left the grass patch, some of them commented that they missed the snail. Since then children continued looking out for living things that they can provide care for!
