This year amid COVID-19 situation, our children demonstrated their love for some special group of people. The K2 children planted red spinach in our Hydroponic Green House. Our aim is to inculcate good values to our children and encourage them to give back to society.
For this year, all the K2 children decided to plant, harvest and pack red spinach to bless the elderly at Irene Home and healthcare workers at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. We want to inculcate in our children the value of showing love to the elderly and appreciation to the healthcare workers who worked very hard during this trying time.
As part of parent involvement, the children discussed with their parents on the number of packets they would like to purchase and bless the community.
We believe that the children are not too young to do their part to show love and appreciation to the community during this COVID situation. Let’s stay safe and stay strong as we move forward.
