The children in M.Y World @ Sun Natura learn to show appreciation and gratitude to our neighbourhood helpers such as the uncle and aunties who have kept our neighbourhood clean, food delivery workers and our neighbourhood shops owners. The children created their own cards by drawing and colouring with short messages to express their gratitude. The K2 children also came up with a appreciation song which the lyrics were printed on the cards.
The children went around to give these neighbourhood heroes the thank you card and shared words of gratitude, such as “Thank you for keeping our neighbourhood clean” and “We appreciate you!”
This was a meaningful activity as it helps children learn to be kind to the ones around us, and learn to appreciate them. 😊
