On 13th August, as part of our Start Small Dream Big project and in conjunction of National Day, our children had an online session with the elderlies to perform for them via Zoom! Children had practiced to the songs and dance moves prior so much so that they were very excited and looking forward to perform for the residents in Swami Home. We were so glad that we could still interact with the community and educate the children about the people around them despite COVID 19. Children dressed up with their Start Small Dream Big hats and the National Day masks that we had prepared for the children. They danced to both Chinese and English songs with fun dance steps! These songs include We are Singapore, Stand up for Singapore and Singapura song. At the end of the session, children were able to reflect and discussed that they made the elderlies happy by dancing for them.
