Our National Day celebration at school was a truly special event, full of excitement and a deep sense of pride in our nation.
The day began with a presentation that took the children on a journey through our country’s history. They learned about the significance of National Day, the hard-won independence that our ancestors fought for, and the meaning behind the symbols on our national flag.
After the presentation, the children got a chance to express their creativity with a fun and meaningful craft activity. We made National Day hats, each featuring the crescent and five stars from our flag. Seeing our children proudly wearing their hats was a sight to behold.
The highlight of the day was when we all came together to sing the National Day song.
Following that, we stood tall and sang the national anthem, our voices strong and full of pride. Finally, we recited the pledge together and ended the celebration with all of us sharing something truly meaningful.
