My First Skool at Kallang Bahru Centre organised a carnival for this year’s Family Day event. Families came together to participate in games, yummy popcorns, photo booths, gallery walk and many more. A ‘food donation drive’ was also organised in collaboration with our Intergeneration partner - Baptist Golden Age Home as part of the centre’s SSBD project.
This project cultivated our children a sense of empathy and appreciation for the larger community, foster inter-generational relationships, understanding for one another, which includes the children, elderly and centre staff. We provide opportunities for children to show understanding and respect for people who are different from them.
