We at Skool4Kidz value our relationship with the families and in order to honor the importance of dads in their children’s lives, the school celebrated Father’s Day through a Live Zoom session.
Preparations for Father’s Day began weeks before the actual event. The children assisted eagerly in the recording sessions; They were involved in performances such as ‘Father sending off a child to school’ and ‘Story telling about Father’s Day’ etc. The children were also engaged in interviews revolving their fathers. Questions such as ‘What do you want to say to daddy?’, ‘How do you feel about your daddy?’ were asked. Through these sessions, the children shared their feelings for their dads as well as develop in the areas of language and aesthetic and creative expression.
On the day of the event, the children were decked out in attires to the theme of ‘A Day like my Dad’ and participated eagerly in the planned performances.
The older children from N2 to K2s created a variety of creative Father’s Day gifts such as 3D popcorn cards and flower pots.
