Children of PCF Sparkletots @ Woodgrove Blk 571B made crafts as gifts for their mummies and daddies on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. They used recycled materials and various art materials to make their gifts.
The Playgroup children used bottle caps and cut outs from magazines to make a flower collage for their mummies. They used recycled cardboard to make a medal and scraps of crepe paper to make a card for their daddies.
The Pre-Nursery children used buttons from old clothings to decorate their ice cream sticks frame for their mummies. They used paper cups and cardboard to make a photo trophy for their daddies.
The Nursery children decorated bottle caps to make a necklace for their mummies. They use cardboards to make a tie and a smartphone with a message for their daddies.
The K1 children made a telescope with an ‘I love mummy’ message using tissue rolls. They made a card and decorated it with buttons from old clothings.
The K2 children made a photo frame for mummy using cardboard as the base and decorated it with cut outs of old CDs. They made a daddy standee for their daddies using tissue rolls.
The children certainly learned new ways of recycling supposed waste products by making them into gifts for their loved ones. They enjoyed themselves and were even more happy to present them to their mummies and daddies.
