Our Kindergarten 1 children participated in a neighbourhood walk in May 2024 as part of our school curriculum. During the walk, we visited our community partner, Allkins Active Ageing Centre @ Pasir Ris 476A - Senior Activity Centre, and greeted the seniors who were preparing for their morning activity. The children were introduced to the organization and learned about its purpose. Reflecting on this experience in class, the children expressed a desire to spend more time with the seniors by engaging in activities such as art & craft and exercising to ensure that the seniors do not feel lonely. This aligns with our ongoing lessons about showing care for those around us.
