This year, we purposely launched our SSDB initiative together with our Mother’s Day celebration on 10 May to emphasize our theme, “Meaningful Together.”
The celebration provided a perfect backdrop for this as we invited mothers to join us in a day filled with joy and collaboration.
The event began with heartfelt performances by the children, showcasing their talents and dedication. Mothers watched with pride and joy as their children sang, danced, and expressed their creativity. The performances not only entertained but also reinforced the importance of supporting and celebrating each other’s achievements.
Following the performances, we organized a sandwich-making activity, where mothers and children worked side by side. This hands-on activity was designed to be both fun and educational, teaching children about cooperation, healthy eating, and the joy of creating something together. The shared task of making sandwiches fostered a sense of unity and accomplishment, as families bonded over the simple yet meaningful act of preparing food together.
We will continue to carry forward the essence of being “Meaningful Together,” ensuring that every small effort contributes to a larger, positive impact on our community.
