This year SSDB project coincide with the muslim calendar, month of Ramadhan. Besides fasting it is the month of charity and performing good deed.
Objectives of the project:

Children to be aware of diverse family background in our neighbourhood/community

To inculcate in our young chn the spirit of giving.

To foster in chn feeling of empathy and caring for others.
To Kickstart, teachers prepared Lesson Package on the significance of Ramadhan.
We launch it with breaking of fast(IFTAR) with parents. Families from diverse background were invited to attend the IFTAR session. The IFTAR session was sponsored by parents for parents especially for families in need in our centre. Staff also contributed to this good cause.
Follow-up, the chn visited Jamiyah Organisation Foodbank. The chn learned on the mission of Foodbank and contributed one food item. They helped with the packing of items to be distributed to needy families & senior citizens.
In each food package, we include a heartshape ❤️ with kind words made by the children at the centre for the food recipient.
