For the first two weeks of SSDB, children cut scrap coloured papers and used drawing papers into tiny pieces, and soaked them for a couple of days. Then we tore and meshed the paper into fibre before pasting them on the bowl with glue. Although it was difficult and frustrating, children persevered throughout the process as the paper kept falling off the bowl. They gave words of encouragement to each other and showed appreciation for the craft.
