On 16th June 2021, the K1 children were given a template of a pet and an empty bowl. Based on their prior knowledge on food that different pets enjoy, they were to draw it out. Thereafter, the K1 children were invited to use coloured play dough to create these treats on the pet mats given. Their fine motor skills were honed through the shaping of play dough. The K1 children also demonstrated empathy in thinking from the pets’ point of view on what they would love. 🥰
