SSDB - Making of recipe charts
After constructive discussions, the K1 and K2 children decided to bake Rainbow Honey Cornflakes in exchange of donated items from their parents. The exchange took place during the Bake Sale.
A few of the children gladly shared their personal experiences of making similar honey cornflakes at home too. Such as, Naomi (K2) said that she made them before with her grandmother for Chinese New Year. Lovely!
The session involved children to take turns in completing their recipe charts. They contributed efforts together such as writing the chart titles, pasting the pictures of ingredients, numbering in the correct sequence of the method to bake the cornflakes and lastly, outlining the words of the recipe to have them seen more prominently.
As the motto of SSDB goes, “No one can do everything, but everyone can do something”, the children showcased team effort in this given task. Well done!
