As we move on to the next part of our project, the children were to list down the items they would like to sell to raise funds for our chosen beneficiary.
They drew and wrote 5 items for each of the fingers on what items they want to sell. We have also discussed that the main event of our project will be a THRIFT & FOOD BAZAAR. They listed stationeries, toys, clothes, shoes, accessories, gadgets and other household items that are not used at home but still in good condition. Another one that we have thought of is through school events and selling own painting works.
In this way, children are learning how to think of ways how to “turn something into something”. They learn to start doing something that will make people happy by giving back to the community.
