For our SSDB project,
Children learned about how to protect and care for the oceans and sea creatures, mainly tortoises and turtles. The children also visited The Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum to learn more about these endangered species and experience a close encounter with some of the terrapins and giant tortoises.
The Kindergarten children dressed as marine creatures and performed various songs about protecting our world and oceans. They even put up a performance for our little toddlers who also had the opportunity to come up close with our little mascots. Our toddlers loved the performances and even hugged and high five our little marine mascots.
The children also played their part by picking up litters at Pasir Ris Park and thanked the beach and park cleaners for helping to keep Singapore clean and green too. The children also put up a wonderful song item specially for the workers.
Alone we can do so little, together we can go so much!
