Our theme for this year will be “Caring for our Community”. Throughout this theme, we have first introduced the concept of the healthy logo that can be found on food products. Some of the K1 and K2 children made a trip to the supermarket with their parents to find a product that has a healthy logo and did a sharing session with their peers. We have also set up a learning corner to introduce the food pyramid, pictures of children holding a product with healthy logo and pictures of them eating healthy food prepared by our cook and reinforce the concept of food wastage at the same time.
In line with our theme, we are excited to partner with Food from the Heart (FFTH), an Institute of Public Character registered charity that feeds the underprivileged in Singapore.
K1 & K2 children collected food that has the healthy logo!They also drew their healthy food pyramid.
