The children learned about the lives of the elderly people in Singapore, interacted with them and have gained insight on the different ways to help the elderly in the community; on the bus, train, hawker centers or even elderlies who are just passing by. They are starting to be more compassionate to the elderly. As they experience this wonderful journey, they went out to the community to spread awareness so more and more people will be more considerate towards them.
The K1 and K2 class set out to Ghim Moh market to give flyers and talk to the community in spreading Kindness to everyone especially to the elderly.
The feedback from the community was overwhelming! They thanked the children for reminding them that it is important to be kind and considerate to other people. They were particularly receptive because the children were the ones sharing the information. What an inspiring day!
