It was indeed a fruitful sharing with the children about the benefits we could get from practicing 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) in our daily lives. As part of this learning, we have come up to an idea of building up a classroom recycling station to remind ourselves of practicing recycling and transforming recyclable materials into treasures!
Different tasks were disseminated equally to children for faster progress and to follow safety measures. Some children took turns in painting boxes, some painted the 3R symbol, some worked on the station background and more.
While working hard for his class project, one of them suggested maybe they could make their humble bins into a robot-themed bins! With so, children added eyes, mouth and different hairstyles to differentiate each bin.
Finally they have made it! They have accomplished building up a class recycling station and they were very happy. Their faces can’t hide their excitement to start the purpose of this station by bringing recyclable materials from their home and turn it into beautiful creations!
Truly, small hands can change the world!! 🌏
