We have come to the end of our Start Small Dream Big 2020 Project – from RECYLING to PLANTING. Children learnt how to reuse things and understand the benefits of recycling by doing this project. They learnt that recycling saves our planet Earth in so many different ways.
After understanding the benefits of recycling, we extend children’s learning to planting. We introduced to them the importance of having plants in the environment and how it supports life on Earth.
In conjunction with this, we have conducted ‘Planting Activity’ via Zoom meeting. Parents were invited to join and help their children to do the planting.
Prior to this activity, we asked children to turn an empty plastic bottle to a decorated planting pot.
Children understand the importance of caring for the environment by recycling and planting. Indeed, this journey is fun and rewarding at the same time. We may have helped in a small way but we can see in the long-run the big difference we have made for our planet Earth. START SMALL DREAM BIG!
