Through the SSDB Project, we inculcate children’s love for reading by providing variety of books about elephants. They read stories and learned facts about animals. The children have enjoyed looking at the illustrations and were able to comprehend the stories. They shared about elephants being endangered and on ways on how to help the elephants. The children have shown interest and love for reading by constantly sitting down with a book during their own free time.
