As we continue with our “Start Small Dream Big 2018: Reduce plastic waste, Save our watery friends” journey, the Nursery 1 and Nursery 2 students head down to River Safari to meet with our watery friends around the world, learning more about them and learning how we could help them. The students had an amazing and fun experience going to each exhibits, getting up close an personal to a real live crocodile, sea stars and even an otter.
This learning journey helps children to expand their views of the world around them and understand that this planet does not only belong to us, but also to the many different animals living on it and it is up to us to help preserve this harmony between man and animals alike. Each step can make a difference in saving our watery friends, no matter how small the step is. Stay tune to our next story to see what our students can make crafts using recycled plastic. 😁👍🏻
