Our little champions from M.Y World @ Canberra have embarked on their very first “Start Small Dream Big (SSDB)” project! Initiated by the Early Childhood Development Agency, young children are encouraged to use their resources and creativity to give back to society, instilling the spirit of giving and inculcating good values such as humility, kindness and compassion.
Empowered to walk the talk, our children took turns to be the M.Y Kindness Ambassador for a week. During this time, they took turns to wear the ambassador badge and presented tokens to their peers who have extended kind acts to others. These tokens are then deposited into a jar with the aim of filling it to the brim by the end of the project.
Being purposeful in promoting kindness has lifelong benefits. Children will learn to treat others with respect, generosity and will carry these values into adulthood. Let’s continue to foster a culture of kindness together! #kindnessmatters #loveothers #myworldpreschool
