The K2 children were introduced to the different characters in Kindsville. They met Tosh, Kalle, Singa, Tomeo and Sher. They gave a warm welcome to their new friends and they learnt knew ways on how to stay safe during the pandemic by listening to the story about “Virus in Kindsville”.
After listening to the story, we conducted a puppet show wherein the children worked in small group to create their own story using the hand puppets. They were able to compose a story about being kind to their friends and family members. They chose their favourite character and waited patiently on their turn to speak. The children also used magic words such as ‘Thank you’, ‘You’re welcome’, ‘Please’, ‘Excuse me’ and ‘I’m sorry’.
