The day has come and the care packs were ready for distribution! With the help of all the teachers, all of the 50 care packs were succesfully given to the hawker centres and MRT staff.
The teachers went around the neighbour hawker centres and Bukit Gombak MRT to give out the bags and say thank you to all the people for their hardwork and care in making their own spaces safe, clean, and orderly for the people amidst the Covid-19.
All in all, it was a heartwarming experience for all the teachers to see the people smile with their care packs and say ‘thank you’. With their help, the K1 children were also grateful to their teachers in helping them give out the packs and bring smiles to the hawker centres and MRT staff.
Afterwards, the children wrote on their reflection journals about their project—what they liked about it and what they have learned. It is fulfilling to know that the children learned about being kind, caring, helpful and giving back to other people. They also promised to still be the Kid Heroes that they can be even after their project! Good job, Kid Heroes! 🦸🏻♀️🦸🏻👏🏻
