The Kid Heroes are down to their second to the last mission for this project! In this mission, they were told ways on how to prevent germs and one of which is with the use of sanitizers.
The children made their own sanitizers to be included in the care packs. They did it by mixing the two ingredients, which are the virol-oxy powder and water. Teacher was the one who poured out a spoon of the virol-oxy powder and the children were the ones who poured 2 cups of water.
The children had fun in making their own sanitizers! They enjoyed pouring the water and stirring the solution. They were surprised when the solution became colour pink. Then, they poured the solution into the bottles with the use of a funnel.
Afterwards, they pasted the YWCA label stickers on their bottles and slightly shook their bottles to make sure the solution is blended well. The next day, the children were surprised when their sanitizers turned white!
