In this mission, the children learned more about frontline workers and their roles and responsibilities in making our community safe and orderly. These frontline workers include the MRT staff, people from hawker centres, etc. They learned about these people’s contributions in making Singapore safe and orderly, such as encouraging people to practice social distancing, adhering to hygiene protocols, cleaning public spaces, etc.
With this, the K1 children, together with the K2 children, showed their appreciation to these frontline workers by making ‘Thank you’ cards. These cards are to be included inside the care packs which are to be given out. The K2 children drew and wrote on the cards, while the K1 children coloured them.
