SSDB Project : “Caring and Inclusive society
for all”
Khalsa Kindergarten, after the launch of our SSDB project, We stepped into the next stage of our project by reaching out to all our student’s parents to contribute to our big project.
This year, for our theme “Caring and Inclusive society for all,” We continue to focus on appreciation of the nation’s Heroes, Our front liners. Our K2 children embarked to give back to the community in their own ways by using their creativity and home resources with their parent’s support. The project encourages our children to build a kind and inclusive society, while gaining teaching values like care and compassion towards front line workers.
We brought awareness to the children that other than the frontline healthcare staff, police force, ambulance drivers, contact tracer, cleaners were equally important in helping us fight against COVID-19. Since it is Circuit Breaker time, We planned some home based art activity to encourage parental involvement and inculcate parent-child collaboration which includes, Thank you card & Appreciation message to the front liner workers.
We are still rooted here to show our endless support to our awesome frontliners.
We are all in this together.
