Our Kindergarten One and Two children saw the importance of having community helpers in the neighbourhood! Upon obtaining permission for a day of suspended cleaning around the school zone from Town Council, the children observed countless of scattered rubbish. They were ever ready to use their ‘willing hands’ to help clean the neighbourhood! The children experienced an invaluable joy whilst gaining empathy, responsibility and compassion for people besides their friends and family members. Our spontaneous parents gave their utmost support for their children and school too!
Towards the end of the experiential learning journey, the children sorted the wastes accordingly before discarding them into the recycling bin. We started small to help REuse, REduce & REcycle!
