<u>Sea Creatures Yoga Poses</u>
Children were taught sea creatures yoga poses as part of their warming up exercise before lesson. Most of the children enjoyed this part of the day and began coming to school on time in order to participate in the exercises. Children also took turns to be the exercise facilitator for each day. On additional, children began to form sea creatures poses on their own and taught children of other levels during assembly.
<u>Help the Whale!</u>
Parents were informed via Whatapps text to allow their child to bring in objects that people throw mindlessly into the sea, causing ocean pollution. Each child stuck the object they brought onto the picture of the whale. Upon completion of the activity, children understood that by throwing these objects into the ocean causes harm to the sea creatures.

This activity brought further awareness of the importance of keeping the ocean clean as children reminded their family members to dispose trash appropriately.
<u>Magic of Doodling</u>
Centre collaborated with the National Arts Council to introduce doodling of the sea creatures to our children. The Presenters drew and show children how a doodle can lead to drawing of different type of sea creatures. During the session, children were given opportunities to learn some doodle techniques such as adding on eyes, background, etc. At the end of the session, children were inspired to draw sea creatures based on their imagination.
<u>‘Let’s Keep the Environment’ skit</u>
The K2 class did a short skit based on the story ‘ Let’s keep the environment clean’. This story is about a boy having a pinic by the beach when he suddenly got drawn into an imaginary world where sea creatures seek his help to free them from the danger they are facing. Each child was able to relate to the character that he/she played and were able to help the boy to save both the sea creatures and the environment.
