Our K2 students held an event at our local community club this morning as part of our ‘Start Small, Dream Big’ initiative. Partnering with the Public Hygiene Council and their ‘Keep Clean, Singapore’ month-long festival, the kids visited McDonald’s to promote the important value of taking care of shared spaces by reminding patrons to return their trays after their meals.
It was great to see the children confidently engaged with members of the public, passing on a bookmark they made to remind patrons of their message as well as a brochure they created concerning reducing plastic usage. To celebrate their accomplishments, the kids shared some french fries following the event… and cleared their own trays of course!
