On 18th June 2021, the K1 children were tasked to create a “K1 Children’s Pet Riddle Book”. As a class, we brainstormed on the ways to care for different pets such as bird, fish, dog, hamster, terrapin, rabbit and guinea pig. After jotted down all the ideas on the whiteboard, the K1s started to work on the Pet Riddle Book. They first drew the picture of the pet on the paper given. They then had to write the descriptions which we discussed earlier, right beside the picture drawn. The teacher assisted to laminate the papers while the children involved in cutting and sticking velcro dots. Lastly, all the papers were compiled into a book and was kept at the class’ book nook. The K1 chidren had so much fun revisiting the book over and over again.
