We are finally at our 3rd and last stage of our Launch Event - Distribution of the 500 care packs!
The collaboration between our little innovators and parents started early in the morning. From collecting the care packs from school, to loading them to the cars, and driving off to the designated locations in the East and North-East regions. It’s great to see how everyone worked together to ensure the smooth delivery of the care packs.
The involvement of both children and parents in unloading the care packs at various locations demonstrates the shared responsibility and commitment to serving the senior residents. Within each group, they discussed and divided tasks among themselves to efficiently distribute the care packs to all eligible senior residents.
In front of each door , the children gathered all their courage and pressed the door bell, “Hello, we are from Little Atlas Preschool. We are here to distribute care pack to you!” They sound so proud as they announce their arrival to each family. The warm greetings and appreciation from the senior residents are rewarding for the children and parents as well. These kind gestures not only show the impact of their efforts but also highlight the positive connections that can be built between generations.
It’s inspiring that, despite feeling exhausted by the end of the day, the children expressed a desire to distribute even more care packs. Their enthusiasm and compassion reflect a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others. This experience will likely leave a lasting impression on the children, fostering empathy and a sense of community service.
As we reflect on this remarkable journey, we are inspired by the boundless potential within each child to be a force for good in the world. Through initiatives like the care pack distribution, we are nurturing compassionate leaders who will shape a brighter and more caring future.
